The Alliance For Change expresses sympathy on the death of Reepu Daman  Persaud, the late Advisor to the President .  Mr. Persaud served Guyana for several decades in various capacities, as a priest, politician and statesman.

He will be remembered for his consistent struggles for democracy and for a representative parliament. His record as a member  of the National Assembly attest to his valuable contributions.

The AFC celebrates the life of the late  Pandit, Parliamentarian, Minister and Vice President , and offers sincere condolences to his bereaved family, among whom is a sitting MP, Dr. Vindhya Persaud, the Government of Guyana, the PPP and the Dharmic Sabha.
