Over the past few days the Alliance for Change made several visits to communities across Guyana reaching out with kites especially to children who live in depressed communities.

Our first visit was to Pigeon Island Squatting Area, ECD Residents where fifty kites were distributed to residents have lived under makeshift conditions in excess of fifteen years.

The Alliance For Change’s Welfare Committee also visited Ann’s Grove and Clonbrook on the East Coast and will continue sharing kites over the Easter weekend in Diamond, New Amsterdam, Linden, Kwakwani, Corriverton and villages along the Corentyne.

By the end of this exercise we would have shared six hundred and more kites. Wherever we went we were warmly received and we remain thankful to our fellow Guyanese brothers and sisters who join hands and hearts with us to make Guyana a better land. Thanks to all those who donated to make this possible for our children.
