The Alliance for Change wish all our Muslim brothers and sisters happy Eid-ul-Fitr. After the observance of Ramadan, the Muslim community once again collectively teach us the value of sacrifice and faith. Our Guyana today cries out for sacrifice and selflessness not the widespread corruption and vice.

The AFC encourage our Muslim community to help restore duty to public life and morality in our private dealings, and that we all Join force to fight not only corruption but the social ills resulting in widespread crime, suicide, domestic violence, drugs , alcohol abuse, trafficking in persons, prostitution and abuse of power.

As Guyana observes Eid, let us continue to reach out to the poor and marginalised.
