On Saturday 21 September 2013 AFC Vice-Chairman – Moses Nagamootoo, General Secretary – David Patterson and Treasurer – Dominic Gaskin visited the Essequibo Coast where they met with AFC members and the Region 2 Management Committee, as well as members of the public. The Georgetown team was able to hear first-hand, the concerns of the region’s rice farmers and other business persons. A newly formed Interim Regional Management Committee reiterated its commitment to strengthening the Party in that region.
