The Alliance For Change condemns the attack on columnist and political activist Freddie Kissoon. The attack and assault of Kissoon must be seen in the context of an attack on freedom of expression and democratic norms.

Kissoon who is known to be fearless in his condemnation of all forms of oppression and injustice must be able to walk the streets of this country free from fear.

This cowardly and despicable act must be condemned by all.

We call for a full investigation into the assault. [END]
