The Alliance For Change will host a press conference tomorrow Thursday May 6, 2010 at 13.00 hrs to inform members of the Media of the upcoming Youth Conference which will be held this Saturday May 8th, 2010 at the Ocean View Convention Centre.
The Youth Conference to be held under the theme “Making it happen now” will see the participation of over 300 youth from Youth groups, service organisations and NGo’s across Guyana. Guest speakers will include the young Jamaican senator Basil Waite and economists Tarron Khemraj amongst other presentations.
The conference is organised by young Guyanese for young Guyanese and will examine issues critical to the youth of today and recommend solutions.
Members of the AFC’s Youth For Change group and Executive Members will host the press conference.
