PRESS RELEASE
Alliance For Change Launches Policy Platform – The New Republic

The Alliance For Change (AFC) is proud to announce the public release of sections of its policy program—starting today—through multiple platforms, including our website, social media (Facebook, TikTok), and to the local press. Today we start with our education policy with other sectors to be released over the next two weeks.
This election is not just about talk. It’s about a clearly defined plan that the Alliance For Change
now articulates that will:
Lift thousands of Guyanese out of poverty
Address the high cost-of-living situation
Ensure G$250,000 becomes the minimum monthly income
Ensure that every Guyanese gets his or her fair share of the oil wealth
Deliver essential services at a reasonable cost
Build a modern, world-class economy grounded in transparency and innovation

Over the last six months the Alliance For Change conducted extensive “Listening and Groundings” sessions in communities across Guyana and these policies incorporate the information garnered. “We listened—and we have the answers you need,” says AFC Leader and Presidential Candidate Nigel Hughes. “This is an election about programmes that will provide you with a better life, not just talk, not just politics as usual.”
