The AFC’s bi-annual National Conference shall be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 commencing at 9:30am at the Ocean View Convention Centre.
In accordance with our Constitution, members should be aware of the following articles:- Article 7 (8) Members will only be eligible to vote after being a member for one year, except in the case of the first National Conference in which case the period is reduced to three months.
Article 7 (9) The National Conference will be open to all members and officials of the National Executive, delegates and observers and other invites of the National Executive Committee.
Members (Delegates) who meet the requirements of Article 7 (8) will be approved and forwarded to the General Secretary by your Regional Management Committee or Chapter Committee, however all other members are eligible to attend and participate in the conference without referral from your regional committee or chapter. At list of number of delegates per region is attached.
All members and delegates are reminded of the need to be financial before the commencement of the National Conference; your current financial status can be confirmed with the treasurer of your regional committee or chapter.

All motions and resolutions are required to be submitted in writing to the General Secretary no later than one (1) week prior to the date of the National Conference. Members are reminded that ordinary motions and resolutions may be passed by a simple majority of those present and voting; however Constitutional Amendments require a two thirds majority to be successful.
