The Alliance For Change wishes to complain publicly to President Donald Ramotar on behalf of the Regional Chairman for Region Eight, AFC Mark Crawford.
To date, the Regional Chairman has not been granted the 4×4 enclosed vehicle suitable for the interior regions and which is necessary for the Chairman to get his work done and official duties executed.
Though the Regional Chairman has pleaded with the Minister of Local Government and has written to the President on this issue, no response has been forthcoming.
It does appear that this is another example of the PPPC squeezing the life out of Regional Officials of independent political parties by denying resources to carry out their tasks. The AFc calls on the President to ensure his Ministers cease this ugly behaviour and allow all regional officials, regardless of which party they come from, access to resources they need.[END]
