GEORGETOWN – A Partnership for National Unity and the Alliance For Change (APNU+ AFC) extend “Happy Phagwah” greetings to members of our Hindu family and to all Guyanese.

Today as we celebrate Phagwah we reflect on the  vibrant colours used in the tradition of Holi which symbolizes the glory of rain after severe drought and hope that the challenges we face  as Guyanese will soon be replaced by renewed dreams of a brighter future.

Our beautiful Guyana like the spectrum of colours is a unique blend of several peoples united as one. May the colours of this day wash away all hatred and bitterness and may showers of peace,  happiness  and togetherness fill our hearts.  It is time Guyana…it is time for unity. Happy Holi.
