The young members of the Alliance for Change on Wednesday last held a night of calypso to celebrate the Mashramani festivities. Performing on the night were Calypsonians D’Ivan, Young Bill Rogers, Mighty Perai and Lord Canary. The event was attended by many calypso lovers and popular political leaders.

In addition to raising funds the young AFC brigade presented a token of appreciation honoring Lord Canary for contributing to calypso in Guyana for fifty-five years.

The Youth For Change plans to make this event an annual celebration and plans are already afoot to make it bigger and better.

The YFC expresses heartfelt thanks to the supporters and sponsors who made this event a success.
