The Alliance For Change held a two day strategy session at the Ocean View
International Hotel, Liliendaal over the weekend February 25-26, 2012.
The Strategy session was held to develop a plan and programme to consolidate on the gains made at the 2011 General and Regional Elections and to focus on the Party’s strategy and activities over the next two years in anticipation of snap elections or local government elections.
Party activists from all ten Administrative Regions of Guyana and including representatives from the diaspora of North America were present and contributed to an aggressive plan of action that will see the AFC mobilizing across the country.
The Alliance For Change, coming out of this Strategy Meeting is more united, organized and ready to discharge its mandate in the service of the people of Guyana, recognizing that the current dispensation in the Parliament will bring benefits to the people as more checks and balances are possible under the prevailing system.
The Alliance For Change is excited that significant financial support to advance its programme over the next two years has been assured.
End.
