It is early January of 2011, a year that the General Elections is scheduled to be held and we in Guyana have already experienced much violence, fires, disruptions and political machinations. At a time when Guyana needs to change by turning in the right direction, the Alliance For Change (AFC) and citizens are observing activities and events which are taking Guyana in the wrong direction.
This dangerous precedent is unacceptable and must not be allowed to drag Guyana further down. Additionally, the AFC as a leading contender for the leadership of the next government, our plans for the 2011 campaign is very advanced which we would like to share with the people of Guyana.
The AFC, therefore, invites you to our first Press Conference for the year on Thursday January 13, 2010, at 11:00 am to address these matters and also to introduce you to our Elections Campaign Consultant.
Please note that the Press Conference will be held at our new Campaign office situated at 139, Fourth St. Campbellville (aback of LENS on Sheriff St.).
