The Alliance For Change (AFC) expresses congratulations to Nicholas Maduro in his victory in yesterday\u2019s presidential elections.<\/p>\n
The AFC welcomes the news that in a country with an electorate of twenty- three million the preliminary results of the elections were released within 24-hours.<\/p>\n
It is to be noted from these results that President elected Maduro has won and by a slim majority and the AFC hopes that in the interest of participating democracy both government and opposition would work towards stability and progress in our neighbouring Republic.<\/p>\n
