The Alliance For Change extends its deepest sympathies to the family, friends, and community of Adriana Younge. No parent should have to mourn a daughter under such unclear and troubling circumstances. Today, we acknowledge the preliminary report that cites drowning as Adriana\u2019s cause of death. Yet even as that detail comes to light, the larger truth remains elusive.<\/p>\n
We therefore renew our call \u2014 firmly and unequivocally \u2014 for a full, transparent, and independent investigation into the events that led to Adriana\u2019s death. The public deserves clarity. The family deserves justice. And Guyana deserves answers.<\/p>\n
But let us also be clear: violence, looting, and lawlessness are not justice. Burning property or blocking roads will not bring peace. It will not honor Adriana\u2019s life. Not in her name.<\/p>\n
Adriana Younge was a young woman with dreams and dignity. She should be remembered not for the chaos her death sparked, but for the change her memory can inspire. A better Guyana \u2014 a fairer, freer Guyana \u2014 must rise from this moment. That begins with truth, accountability, and non-violence.<\/p>\n
We urge every citizen to channel their grief into constructive action. Let us demand justice with discipline. Let us stand together \u2014 across race, region, and party \u2014 to ensure this tragedy is not buried in bureaucracy or politics.<\/p>\n
We stand for clean governance, respect for law, and the sanctity of every Guyanese life. In the name of Adriana Younge \u2014 not in her name \u2014 we will continue to press for full disclosure and accountability.<\/p>\n
