The AFC was happy to give assistance to the Flue family, which was rendered homeless by a fire that struck their property at Nelson Street, Mocha Arcadia, East Bank Demerara on Friday, January 29, 2010.
A delegation comprising the Raphael Trotman, Sixtus Edwards, Cathy Hughes, and Denise Walcott visited with the family on the weekend and presented financial contribution, clothing and food stuff. Mr. Wade Flue in accepting the donation expressed gratitude and said he “very grateful” for the contribution being made in his time of need.” A promise was made for further assistance.
