Mr. Peter Ramsaroop, AFC CEO

Mr. Ramsaroop is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Alliance For Change (AFC). He has been involved in Guyana Politics since the late 90s. Mr. Ramsaroop is known for his work among the young people of Guyana, serving in many various capacities in sports and social organizations including Vision Guyana.     He also serves the Chairman, RoopGroup Inc., an investment company based in Guyana. 

Mr. Ramsaroop was the founder/chairman of Evolvent, a leading cybersecurity and technology company based in Washington DC. 

Mr. Ramsaroop holds an MBA in Economics and Technology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.  He also has two associates’ degrees and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance/Management from Park College, Parkville, Missouri.     Mr. Ramsaroop has held faculty appointments at Belleville Area College and City Colleges of Chicago. He was also an Associate Professor at the Department of Defense Uniformed Services University and an Adjunct Professor at Webster University.

Mr. Ramsaroop was the Controller and Chief Technology Officer at UltraLink, LLC – an Allianz AG (NYSE: AG) Company, serving the fortune 500 market.  Mr. Ramsaroop served in the United States Military and was deployed to the Middle East during the first Gulf war (Desert Shield/Storm)

Mr. Ramsaroop is a recognized author and speaker.  His publications include, Thriving in the Age of Terror, Surfing the Leadership Wave, Securing Business Intelligence, Hope for Our Nation, and The Road To Eldorado.    Other publications include “Advances in Federal Sector HealthCare – A Model for Technology Transfer with Foreword by Senator Inouye was published in January 2001.  He recently collaborated on a publication with the Brazilian Government and was the co-author along with the President of Bolivia, President of Chile, and President of Peru among others.

Peter served in the Guyana National Service Cadet Corp and credits his success to early leadership training.
